Product Description

PPI isolators provide personnel protection when handling toxic substances. Personnel protection is achieved by means of a barrier (isolator housing with glove ports) between the operator and the toxic substance. Additionally, an HEPA supply and exhaust air filter system generates a defined negative pressure in the working area of the isolator, thus increasing the level of safety for the operator. The filter elements are replaced free of contamination.

Products and material are transferred inwards and outwards by means of a transfer system (RTP or airlock).

The working area can be cleaned manually with water using a spray gun (WIP).

All safety-relevant functions are constantly monitored electronically.

  • Fully welded stainless steel housing (1.4301) with radial edges, rounded corners and a bottom plate with a gradient in the direction of drainage to ensure easy cleaning
  • Folding, electrically monitored, front panel of safety glass with pneumatic springs, pressure-controlled pneumatic seals and glove ports (glove material: CSM)
  • Negative pressure-controlled exhaust fan
  • Turbulent ventilation
  • Single-filtered supply air and double-filtered exhaust air via push-push HEPA filter H14 for contamination-free filter changes
  • Gas-tight, electrically operated butterfly valves on the supply air and exhaust air side
  • Automatic pressure decay test
  • Leakage rate: 2 vol%/h
  • Spray gun for manual cleaning with water, drainage by means of an electrically operated diaphragm valve

  • Lock chamber installed on the right as transfer system
  • Interlocked, electrically monitored safety glass airlock doors with pressure-controlled, pneumatic seals
  • Passive ventilation by means of single-filtered supply air with push-push HEPA filter H14 for contamination-free filter changes
  • Gas-tight, electrically operated butterfly valves on the supply air side
  • HEPA cartridge filter H13 in the inner airlock door for overflow
